Dr. William L. KohnWilliam L. Kohn, M.D.

Dr. Kohn joined the Grants Pass Clinic in June, 1977 and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Kohn is a graduate of the University of California School of Medicine. Dr. Kohn served his internship and completed his residency at the University of New Mexico Medical School.

 

Dr. Neil A. PhillipsNeil A. Phillips, D.O.

Dr. Phillips joined the Grants Pass Clinic in July of 2005. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Phillips is a graduate of Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA and served his internship and residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University.

 

Dr. Kevin H. MolteniKevin H. Molteni, M.D.

Dr. Kevin Molteni is a graduate of UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School. He completed his internship, residency, and a Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Children’s Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Molteni is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He began his practice at the Grants Pass Clinic on December 1, 2010.

Pediatrics

Pediatrics is the medical specialty concerned with the health of infants, children, and adolescents; their growth and development, and their opportunity to achieve full potential as adults. As physicians who assume a responsibility for children’s physical, mental, and emotional progress from newborn to maturity, pediatricians must be concerned with social or environmental influences, which have a major impact on the health and well-being of children and their families, as well as with particular organ systems and biologic processes.

At Grants Pass Clinic, our pediatricians are board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. This means that after medical school, these physicians went on to three year specialty training and then completed extensive examinations in the area of pediatrics and adolescence. In the state of Oregon, you do not have to be board certified to practice pediatrics, but at Grants Pass Clinic, we feel that it is critical to have the added training and expertise required through board certification.

The pediatricians at Grants Pass Clinic truly enjoy working with children and consider it an honor to be involved with their growth and development.
