Christopher Patton, MD
Dr. Chris Patton received his undergraduate degree from New College of Florida. He was a merit scholar in undergraduate and medical school. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Health Sciences. Dr. Patton completed his pediatric residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, in Nashville, Tennessee. Following completion of his pediatric residency he did an additional year of residency training in Dermatology at Vanderbilt.
After residency Dr. Patton joined a pediatric practice in Nashville where he practiced for 22 years, doing general pediatrics and pediatric dermatology. He simultaneously served various pediatric leadership roles with non-profits and Vanderbilt University Medical Center in that community. In 2019, he followed his children west to embrace all the Pacific Northwest had to offer and practiced in a large group practice for three years before starting his own pediatric practice in Medford. Dr. Patton is now excited to be joining the excellent team of physicians at The Grants Pass Clinic!
His perfect time off would be spent with his wife in the mountains skiing, exploring the coast, in the water, hiking in the backcountry or with his always trusty companion Jax, a Golden Retriever. His special talent is a bird that accompanies him and whistles during exams…listen carefully!
Dr. Patton’s passion is the ‘ministry’ of taking care of families and being a steward of the most precious resource in the world: our children.
