Judy K. Black, MD

Dr. Black attended medical school at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She got her first taste of the Pacific Northwest when she went to Portland to complete her training in pediatrics at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Black is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Black has special interests in caring for children with developmental and behavioral problems. She works with Early Intervention of Josephine County to identify children as young as 2-3 years old with autism. She also has interests in caring for children with chronic medical conditions and special needs.

After working in the Midwest for a number of years, she and her family decided to leave the Chicago winters behind and come out to Grants Pass. She has been living here and working at Grants Pass Clinic since 2015 and is delighted to now call Grants Pass her home. Dr. Black enjoys spending her free time with her husband and four children. She also enjoys knitting.
