Keeping the Clinic Safe – by Gary Oliver

Hi! My name is Gary Oliver and I am the Facilities Maintenance Technician at Grants Pass Clinic. I have worked the past 14 months ensuring that the building and grounds are in operating condition. It is a priority each day to make it comfortable and safe for our patients, providers, and employees. This daily responsibility is accomplished as a team effort by everyone at the clinic. I get 100% support from my supervisor, the CEO, Administration, providers, and employees. They are alert to anything needing attention and are great in assisting with either approving contractor services if needed, to coordinating their schedules to accommodate repairs. As I have observed the providers and employees here, I think they are some of the most dedicated, professional, and caring people I have had the opportunity to work with.  I feel fortunate that I can be a part of Grants Pass Clinic.  I will always remember my supervisor’s question when I first started working here…”Did you know that there are 20 bathrooms in the clinic?” I did not know that at the time, but I do now, along with many more facts about our facility that make my job challenging and interesting!
