Outpatient Minor Surgery

Minor surgery is a surgical procedure that does not involve general anesthesia or respiratory assistance while the procedure is being performed. It can be a medical procedure involving an incision done with instruments in order to repair damage, treat disease, or biopsy for testing.

Dr. Powell is board certified in general, vascular, and thoracic surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. This means that the surgeon’s education and training, professional qualifications, surgical competence, and ethical conduct have passed a rigorous evaluation, consistent with the high standards established and demanded by the American College of Surgeons and the American Board of Surgery.
